Top 10 series (ranking by Filmaffinity)

The topic I´m going to write about today is the Top 10 ranking of series according to the rating web "Filmaffinity"
For our curiosity, one of the things that attracts atention is that all the series of that ranking are american series. The ranking starts with "Boardwalk Empire" in the 10th possition followed by "How I met your mother" in the 9th and the most popular american serie in Spain until now; "Lost" in the 8th rank. After that, the 7th place belongs to "Six feet under" that has the same mark than the 6th one: the legendary series that all of us have seen once at least: "Friends".
To continue with, it´s important to say that the 5th and 4th places are occupied by two series that had in their time a really strong competition between them for the audience, they are "The Sopranos" and "Band of brothers" (in the ranking order).
Finally the last series of the ranking are: "Game of Thrones" in the 3rd place; a Tv series inspired in the books written by George R.R. Martin with the same name. "The Simpsons" in the 2nd place; the most lovely family all over the USA has finally decreased to the 2nd place of the series ranking of Filmaffinity after years and years of being the favourite series of the people of all the world.
To finish with, in the very 1st position with an average of 8´8 between 19´90 voters appears the police series "The Wire". As we can read in Filmaffinity, this is the only series that has had reached a higher mark than " The Simpsons"
